The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club) is a movie adaptation of the 1922 short story "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" written by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald, regarded as one of the twentieth century's great writers.

Fitzgerald's short story first appeared in the 27 May 1922 edition of Collier's Weekly. Fitzgerald noted that "This story was inspired by a remark of Mark Twain’s to the effect that it was a pity that the best part of life came at the beginning and the worst part at the end."
