Speaking In Code

Speaking in Code is an intimate account of people who are completely lost in music. A heartbreaking and lighthearted documentary, it's a vérité glimpse into the world of techno. Captivating and entertaining, the film takes you around the world, following the people who make electronic music ... their lives.

Daniel x Zouk T-shirt Collab

This was meant to be a Christmas post but due to an administration and production delay, we're... well late. Still, isn't shopping our favourite past-time? So if you happen to be at the club, swing by the Deli boutique and grab this tee for your loved one. And if you've puked your guts out on any other night, this piece of garment just might be your saving grace afterall.

Designed as part of a series, this first piece is a homage to Peter Saville's design for OMD's debut single 'Electricity'. All t-shirts are available on heather grey 100% cotton in male and female sizes.

Possibly one of the best film(s) released in 2009, it'll make it to my top 10 this year since I just received my copy. I'll spare you the synopsis, so go figure with the official tralier.

Massive Attack - Paradise Circus

The new video for 'Paradise Circus', the launch single from Massive Attack's eagerly anticipated new studio album Heligoland. A very fine addition to the band´s tradition of trailblazing videos, this film directed by Toby Dye mixes things up with a stark style more akin to documentary making than the music video genre. The film combines the frank confessions of porn actress Georgina Spelvin with actual footage of her young self on screen some forty odd years earlier as the young starlet of the infamous 70s porn flick 'The Devil in Miss Jones'. The results are at turns startling, enchanting, poignant and certainly recommended for over 18s only.

Lacoste Book by Olivier Margot

Coming this February 2010 from Assouline is a new book from Olivier Margot on the world of Lacoste. “Since the birth of the iconic alligator – the world’s first clothing logo and the symbol of its French tennis-great namesake – in 1933, Lacoste has been nearly synonymous with sport. When champion René Lacoste put his fa vored tennis uniform (a white piqué polo shirt) into production for the mass market, it revolutionized the standard stiff and starchy athletic attire, usher ing in an era of sport styles that were as comfortable and functional as they were chic.” The book is now available for pre-order from Amazon.
